We are often invited by ride operators to visit them and check horses, facilities and location, one of the perks of the job I guess. But we would love YOU to join us on one of our exploratory expeditions.
This is for the adventurous, experienced rider who wants to test out a ride. We cannot guarantee that everything will be perfect BUT we can guarantee a real adventure into the unknown! These spaces are often limited and available on a first come, first served basis. All we ask is, you, the client, give us YOUR appraisal of the riding holiday.
We are often able to offer a discount on the normal ride price also, so watch this space!
- Gorki-Terelj National Park Ride – Mongolia August 2012 We have been invited to take a small group of clients to look at our horse riding holiday in Mongolia This horse riding holiday in Mongolia takes a total of ten days from arrival in Mongolia to departure, with eight days of actual riding. We’ll have you in the saddle within 24 hours of entering the country. The Gorki-Terelj National Park lies northeast of the capital city of Ulaanbaatar and within easy reach of the city. For those who have only a short time to visit but want to experience the real Mongolian countryside by horseback, this trip will cover some spectacular terrain, intriguing historical sites and exposure to herding culture. The group will be limited to a maximum of 4 people. We already have one provisional booking so, with just 3 places remaining we strongly recommend early booking. - Wolves and Wild Horses – Portugal (Date to be announced) We have been invited to take a look at the horse riding holiday in Portugal we have titled Wolves and Wild Horses. Situated in the north of Portugal in the location of Geres National Park this is one of the last remaining strongholds of the Iberian Wolf and the wild Garrano horses. The terrain is rough with few inhabitants which has resulted in the wolves being able to live fairly peacefully in this remote region of Portugal. Close to the Spanish border this operation is run by two journalists who have a deep love and affection with the wolves. This is a 5 day holiday including 3 days riding, 4 nights accommodation, breakfast and lunch. It does not include any flights, transfers or dinner.
